Manjrekar, Raj Engineering Works has garnered over 40 years of expertise in the manufacturing of quality extruders. Aimed at providing quality to its customers, the company survives even today through the cut-throat competition due to its strong values and loyal clientele.
Now into its second generation, the company is progressing rapidly with the wisdom and expertise of Mr.Mangesh Manjrekar who joined the business in 1999, a BE- Mechanical Engineer with an MBA degree from Drexel University, US and Mr.NeerajManjrekara Mechanical Engineer. Carrying the light of success forward, they have intelligently managed to maintain the calibre of the company, which is one of the oldest surviving extrusion machinery manufacturer in India.
Mr.Manjrekar believes in continuous learning, employing needy but sincere people and implementing innovativetechniques. His determination has empowered him with a sense of vision as he focuses on achieving a 100 Cr. turnover by 2025. Industrial Equipments:


Extruder

Materials:
Screws & Cylinders are made of alloy steels [ EN-41 B for nitrided screw & cylinder ] Surface treated Screws and Cylinders can operate at the high temperature/high pressure conditions prevalent in the extruder. The highest grade of materials are used for fabricating the machinery.

Design:
Screw is designed according to the material required to be processed. Cylinders are provided with ample thickness to withstand internal pressure as well as regular wear and tear. A specially designed stand ensures that there is minimum vibration even when operating the extruder at its maximum rated speed. The extruder is powered by a set of standard electric motor and Helical Gearbox, which are properly aligned to provide maximum efficiency.

Temperature Control:
Digital PID Controllers are used in the Control Cabinet to provide an automatic cut-off system that regulates the temperature of the cylinders through the use of good quality heaters and thermocouples. Blowers are additionally provided on extruders requiring more accurate temperature control.

Dies:
The Dies of the extruder are designed according to the specific requirements of the customer. Extruders are manufactured for the following applications:
Reprocessing / Recycling Plant / PVC Compounding
Blow Film Plant [ LDPE / LLDPE / HMHD ]
Pipe Plant [ PVC, LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE ]
Profiles [ Casing-Capping, Symmetrical Profiles ]

Agglomerator

Stand:
Made of Heavy duty angles to provide maximum stability during operation.

Body:
Made of M.S. with S.S. lining. Body made in two parts. Lower Body of less height to aid in easy removal for setting of Blades. 6 nos. of HSS (High Speed Steel) Blades fitted on the body.

Housing:
Houses the shaft fitted with the Rotor. Consists of two heavy-duty bearings.Water cooling on housing helps to keep the temperature down to a minimum even at the high operating speed.

Rotor:
Thick rotor fitted with 6 no. of HSS (High Speed Steel) Blades.

Blades:
Blades are HSS (High Speed Steel) tipped with a hardness of 60 on the Rockwell C Scale. Blades are fitted in accurately machined slots and provided with Locking plates to allow proper fitting over the entire Blade width. High-tension Bolts are used for fitting Blades.

1. Plastic Recycling Plant

We manufacture Single Screw Plastic Recycling Plants for recycling of LD, LLDPE, HMHD, ABS, PS, PC, PVC. Vented systems are provided for recycling of PP, NYLON, PET AND other Engineering Thermoplastics. Also, recycling plants for processing PP Filaments and HM Punch waste directly without the need for Agglomerator thereby improving the pelletizing quality at a low power consumption. Two Stage Recycling Plants are provided for processing Printed material and other plastics where moisture removal is necessary as in the case of PET and other Engineering Thermoplastics.

Plastic Blown Film Plant

We manufacture Blown Film Plants for LD / LLDPE / HM. Availability of wide range of machinery to manufacture tubing from 25 mm to 3500 mm layflat. The Dies of the extruder are designed according to the specific Tubing size requirements of the customer for LD/HM/LLDPE tubing. Air rings are provided as per die size. The Take-up Unit Height and Roll width is as per extruder specifications. The Rolls are made of Neoprene rubber and Ebonite. Pneumatic Locking is provided for easy operation of rolls from the floor level.

Plastic Pipe Plant

We manufacture Pipe Plants for PVC, LD and HDPE. Availability of wide range of machinery to manufacture pipes from 20 mm to 180 mm.

High speed Mixer

High Speed Mixer
Body:
Made of S.S. Rubber padding is provided between the body and the lid to prevent metal to metal contact and escape of material. Body can be water jacketed from the outside if required so that material can be quickly cooled avoiding formation of lumps.

Housing:
Houses the shaft fitted with the mixer blades. Consists of two heavy-duty bearings. Water cooling on housing helps to keep the temperature down to a minimum even at the high operating speed.

Blades:
Made either of Alloy Steel or S.S. according to requirement. Proper mixing is achieved by correct positioning of the two blades.

Motor:
Mixer is fitted with a motor according to requirement.

Output:
A batch of 20 kgs to 40 kgs can be processed in about 7 minutes.

Chambers:
Made of Thick Mild Steel Plates. Fixed Blades are housed in the Chambers and are provided with adjusting bolts. Also provided is a separate arrangement to lock the blades in place and prevent their dislocation even when subjected to heavy operating loads.

Side Parts:
Made of Mild Steel. Rotor is housed in the side parts by means of heaving duty bearings. Adequate sealing is provided within the side parts to prevent material leakage in to the bearings.

Blades:
Are WPS tipped with a hardness of 60 on the Rockwell C Scale. Blades are fitted by means of high-tension bolts.

Bottom Screen:

Pelletizer

Pelletizer
Rotor:
Made from Mild Steel and accurately machined to enable Dynamic Balancing.

Blades:
Are HSS (High Speed Steel) tipped with a hardness of 60 on the Rockwell C Scale. High-tension bolts are used for fitting blades. Rotor Blades can be adjusted relative to the fixed blade so as to provide for uniform cutting throughout the pelletizing operation.

Side Parts:
Made from Mild Steel and securely bolted to the Pelletizer Stand. The Rotor is fitted between the side parts by means of a shaft bearing assembly. The bearing housings for the feed/guide rolls are housed in the Side parts.

Guide Rolls:
Made of stainless steel and spring tension loaded to grip the strands with uniform pressure. The guide roll can be lifted by an attached lever mechanism.

Drive:
Power is provided through a motor mounted internally on the pelletizer stand. The drive unit is capable of variable speeds through the use of Stepped Pulleys or a Variable Frequency Drive.

Torque & surface Winder

Torque & surface Winder
Torque winder:
This Two-station Winder is used for winding film extruded from our Blown film Plants, especially HM Tubings. An Ebonite roll and a Synthetic Rubber roll are fitted. The winder is provided with a ½ H.P.D.C. Motor and 2 nos. of ½ H.P. Torque Motors. The winder is provided with a mechanical arrangement to adjust the tension and speed . A slitting arrangement can be provided on the Winder. The width of the rolls is in accordance with the maximum width of the film that is to be extruded.

Surface winder:
This Surface Winder is used for winding film extruded from our Blown film Plants, especially Lay Flat Tubings. Two Synthetic Rubber rolls and one Steel roll are fitted. A slitting arrangement can be provided on the Winder. The width of the rolls is in accordance with the maximum width of the film that is to be extruded.

Hydraulic Screen Changer

Torque & surface Winder
Screen Changer is constructed using thick plates to withstand the high pressures prevalent at the Die. The Breaker plate is made of Alloy Steel and hardened. Rings are provided in the screen changer for smooth operation. Heavy duty hydraulic pack provides for quick change of screens.
